Kohler Credit Union’s mission is indicative of the values that helped shape our vision for over 80 years, and today we are proud to say we work to fulfill that mission every day, for every member.
This month, we are excited to celebrate our 1-year anniversary of our Manitowoc branch, located in Meijer. Although it was a year like no other, Kohler Credit Union remained dedicated to our members, their financial wellbeing and the communities we serve.
Founded in 1938, Kohler Credit Union has grown to serve eight counties in southeastern Wisconsin and over 42,000 members. Presently, Kohler Credit Union has branches in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Howards Grove, Plymouth, Kohler, Grafton, Saukville, Mequon and West Bend.
As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Kohler Credit Union is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Profits generated are passed along to members through lower loan rates, higher interest rates on savings, and lower fees. Members are the owners of Kohler Credit Union, and because of this, we keep our members in the forefront of every decision we make.
To support our members’ livelihood at every stage of life, Kohler Credit Union offers competitive rates on vehicle and personal loans, and mortgages; a variety of checking and savings options; business services including lending options, and investment and retirement services.
What makes Kohler Credit Union stand out from other financials is our commitment to the community and to service excellence. Team members volunteer hundreds of hours in our communities every year. We also support local events, service organizations, and youth sports leagues through sponsorships. Dedication to deepening member relationships permeates throughout our organization and defines our culture.

Kohler Credit Union membership is open to anyone who lives or works in Manitowoc, Sheboygan, Calumet, Fond du Lac, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Washington or Waukesha county. Membership is also open to immediate family members and associations or organizations.
