Employment Opportunity at SFD

St. Francis DeSales High School seeks a full-time Director of Alumni and Family Engagement. The Director is responsible for the strategy, planning, and implementation of programs and projects that engage alumni and parents of alumni with one another and current DeSales students and families. Serving as an ambassador for the school, the Director of Alumni and Family Engagement is charged with motivating alumni, and parents of alumni to be engaged and involved in a variety of ways. The Director will report to the Director of Advancement and will be an integral member of the Advancement team. The Director will work collaboratively with the Principal, the Alumni Board and Council, and the school’s administrative team and faculty to develop and execute programs of a local, regional and national interest to the school’s 10,000 plus alumni. A BIG THANK YOU to all who gave a gift this season during our Holiday Annual Giving in support of the Stallion Way Fund. As a result of this successful drive we received a total of 259 gifts and an impressive $129,933 -- an increase in the number of gifts and dollars raised over previous years. Your support demonstrates how we, as Stallions, continue to give back to the students who seek excellence in academic and spiritual education.

If you missed giving a gift during the Holiday Annual Giving, there's still time to help! Your donations today will continue to support the Stallion Way Fund. This fund will help our students gain a new access and departure point for parking in the south lot. The new drive will also make the student commute safer and alleviate traffic on Karl Road.

Msgr. David Sorohan, the first Assistant Principal at St. Francis DeSales High School, passed away on December 25, 2020.

Heavenly Father, those who love you bear witness to this love by sharing it with others. Help us to grow in love, and strengthen us to reach out to those in need and lead them to you, so that all who are burdened in this life may experience healing in body and soul.
