Western Ontario Drama League (WODL)
From Mona Brennan-Coles - President of WODL - president@wodl.on.ca

Hello!
Happy New Year! Though, I must admit, it seems very much like the “old year” except that the days are getting longer not shorter (Hurrah!). I am hopeful that our winter will continue to be mild since apparently this past week is traditionally our coldest week.
What’s Next for WODL?

The WODL newsletter returns in early February 2021.

Our next General Meeting is at 11:00 am on Sunday, February 21, 2021 via Zoom. Brandon Moore will be our guest and provide further updates from the Ontario Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development's Advisory Committee for Live Performance. We’ll also have details of two virtual workshops. Watch for more information from our secretary, Pam Niesiobedzki-Curtis.

Future WODL Festivals
  • Festival 2022 – Hosted by Guelph Little Theatre in Guelph.
  • Festival 2023 – We’re still looking for a host so please contact me (president@wodl.on.ca) if you are interested.
  • Festival 2024 – Hosted by The Bank Theatre in Leamington.

Please reach out to your area VP if:
  • your theatre company would like to use the WODL Zoom account. While several groups are already using our Zoom account, there is lots of open times for meetings.
  • you have questions and/or ideas of how WODL can support your theatre group.

The contact information for the area VPs is:

Take care. Stay safe. I am still hopeful that, before the end of 2021, we will be able to start turning out our Ghost Lights and welcome audiences into our theatres again.
