County offices will be closed Monday, July 5, in observation of the Fourth of July.
Washington County asked to voluntarily restrict use of fireworks
Those celebrating the upcoming holiday weekend are asked to restrict the unsafe use of fireworks in light of recent record-breaking heat and widespread drought conditions.

The County is working with emergency responders to send a strong message that our community has suffered enough under the weight of the coronavirus pandemic, September wildfires and extreme weather conditions.

Do not call 9-1-1 to report fireworks use. The 9-1-1 system needs to be available for reporting only active fires, serious medical problems and crimes in progress. To report the use of illegal fireworks - those that explode or fly into the air - call non-emergency dispatch at 503-629-0111 and be prepared to provide the appropriate address. Read the full media release
