November Employees of the Month
The GGUSD Board of Education recently honored our November Employees of the Month including Hare High School Teacher Alvaro Solorzano and Peters K-3 Plant Supervisor (former lead custodian at Skylark) Teresa Tellez.
Happy Thanksgiving
The Garden Grove Unified School District Board of Education would like to express its best wishes to all district families on the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. There is no school for students from Monday, November 22 through Friday, November 26. Classes for all district students resume on Monday, November 29.
Showcase of Bands Makes its Return!
After a two year hiatus due to the pandemic, the GGUSD Showcase of Bands returned with performances from all seven of our high schools. Also performing for a large crowd at Bolsa Grande Stadium was the Bolsa Grande Concert Choir and the Santiago Drill team. These students put in months of hard work and rehearsals to get these performances down and they all did a fantastic job.

Check out the replay of the 2021 Showcase of Bands below.
Grateful for GRIP
Thank you to our wonderful partners with the Orange County GRIP program. Each year, these law enforcement partners donate Thanksgiving meals or gift cards to GGUSD families. This week, they presented grocery gift cards to families at Parkview Elementary. We appreciate all they do to support GGUSD families!
