Roslyn Public Schools
SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
December 11, 2020

Dear Roslyn Families,

Please be advised that two students at Harbor Hill have tested positive for COVID-19. One individual was already in quarantine. The class which includes the second individual has been instructed to switch over to remote learning for the duration of the quarantine period.

Since our classes are held in contained pods, and students have no interaction with the school population at large, it has been determined that this case does not warrant a school building closure. At this time, every parent who has a child in the class where the student tested positive, or who is considered a potential close contact, has been notified and our internal contact tracing is complete. We continue to work in conjunction with the Nassau County Department of Health.

With COVID-19 cases on the rise, please continue to follow local health guidelines to keep
yourself, your families, and our community healthy and safe.

Sincerely,

Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
