We've Reopened - Join Us! |

Now that we have reopened, please note that proof of vaccination, masking and social distancing are required for those attending in person. If you would like to expedite the process, you can take a photo of your COVID vaccine card (front and back) and email it to Kayla at [email protected]. A list of those who have shown proof of vaccination will be maintained, so you’ll only have to show it once. We will continue to offer a hybrid service, so that vaccinated participants can participate in person, and those who are not—as well as those who just prefer to stay home—can participate via Zoom. Nominations for the Unity Board of Trustees Requested |

We are accepting nominations for our Board of Trustees for the 2022-2024 term. These are the people who represent membership and oversee Unity Spiritual Center’s governance, financial decisions and operations. This is a vital and fulfilling volunteer opportunity for Unity members to help guide the future of our community and, at the same time, give of their time, talents, and treasure.
Nominating team members are Jeff Cahill who will serve as team leader; Sylvia Strickland; Susan Quilleash; and Vern Vobejda. We thank each of them for giving of their time for this important role. Unity Book Study Groups for 2022 |
|
The book selected for our first 2022 book study group is Adventures in Resilience: Ignite the 12 Powers in You to Create a Radiant Life by Sharon Connors. You are encouraged to purchase the book directly from Unity Worldwide Ministries (rather than Amazon). To place your order, call 816- 524-3550. Select option 3 for Customer Care. Note that you want to purchase the book with the 15% special discount and have it shipped priority mail so it will arrive in 3 to 5 days. The cost should be $20.96. The groups will meet every other week (bi-weekly) starting on Monday, January 10, 2022. Please sign up for your group by Friday, December 31, by emailing Kayla at [email protected] and letting her know the facilitator's name for the group you wish to join.

Unity in the Rockies Centennial Planning Meeting |

On Saturday, January 8, at 1:30 p.m., there will be a brainstorming session about ways to honor and celebrate Unity in the Rockies’ 100 Years in 2022 and to energize us for the future. Committees will be formed. The meeting will be hybrid, but not recorded. We hope you can participate! |

As we continue to seek an interim minister for Unity in the Rockies, it will be important to provide temporary housing for him or her. If you have a spare mother-in-law’s suite or similar space you could make available, please email us at [email protected].

December is one of four months annually that Unity in the Rockies supports the food pantry at Westside CARES. Below is the list of most-needed items. Food pantry donations may be dropped off at their central office, located at 2808 W. Colorado Avenue, on Thursdays between 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. When you drop off your items, please let them know you are from Unity. Thanks, in advance, for opening your heart and helping those in need!
