Thirteen Hands4Hope youth participated in the Empty Bowls Fundraiser which aims to reduce hunger and malnutrition both locally and internationally! This was their third year participating, and on the day of the event, over 300 bowls of soup were distributed - each with a handmade bowl made by local students!

We appreciate the Empty Bowls Committee and organizers for giving Hands4Hope youth the opportunity to be involved in this service-learning experience and for choosing the Hands4Hope Emergency Food Pantry as one of the beneficiaries!

The 12th Annual Hands4Hope - Youth Making A Difference Toiletries Drive focused on supporting those impacted by the Caldor Fire this past year, as well as those in our community struggling to make ends meet.

Our Youth Leaders coordinated with students at seven elementary schools and collected 6,903 items!

The Hands4Hope Project Birthday Committee created 15 birthday kits in February to help celebrate children and teens with January - March birthdays at Mercy Housing in El Dorado Hills. The kits are a continuing effort to meet a need at the affordable housing community while ongoing Covid restrictions prevent a return to in person monthly parties.
