Topic: Welcome Governor Youngkin!
AVV members participated in the January 15 inauguration of businessman Glenn Youngkin, who was sworn in as the 74th Governor of Virginia.

With Winsome Sears as Lieutenant Governor, Jason Miyares as Attorney General, and a 52-48 Republican majority in the House of Delegates, Virginians signaled they wanted a new direction for their state.
Within hours after being sworn into office, Governor Youngkin unveiled his day one agenda through 11 executive actions.

Mission Accomplished
But More To Do

We are all celebrating the election victories of Governor Glenn Younkin, Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears, and Attorney General Jason Miyares. And, winning Virginia’s House of Delegates returned representative, healthy debate to our legislature. Surprising results, but not to those Veterans and mission partners in American Veterans Vote who worked so hard with other coalitions to get out the vote and win.

How To Write Your Congressman
Glenn Youngkin just became the new governor of Virginia, the mid-terms are around the corner, and the 2024 presidential election is on the horizon. Bringing about change through elections is one thing, but what should Veterans - and all Americans for that matter - be doing in the interim to make sure the country remains on course?
Not happy with empty store shelves, high inflation, and unsecure borders? Let em' know.
AVV Needs Volunteers
Harnessing voter sentiment and turning that sentiment into action to bring about change in Virginia was only possible through the hard work of volunteers. As we approach the mid-terms, the time to volunteer is upon us on a grand scale. In November 2022, Virginia will elect 11 candidates to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. Will you step up and volunteer to bring about a course correction to the direction of the country?
American Veterans Vote, Inc. (AVV) is a volunteer team of Veterans and Civilian Mission Partners who have led the Veteran Coalition for Glenn Youngkin. We are a 527 Political Action Committee with a nationally-focused mission to promote the political voice of Veterans and mission partners in support of our three key objectives:
  • Support of Veterans and their Families,
  • Defense of the Constitution, and
  • Promote Our Nation’s Security.

AVV’s goal is to help Veterans maximize their political voice by supporting Veterans’ ability to Vote, Volunteer and Run for Public Office.

"Every Veteran, Every Vote."
We don't speak FOR Veterans... we speak AS Veterans.
