Dear Xavier Families,

Below is information from the Appleton Health Department regarding upcoming vaccinations clinics for children (ages 5-11). Please review the information below and attached.

We encourage Xavier families to consult with their health care professionals for guidance on vaccinations. In addition, we encourage Xavier families to review the USCCB’s Moral Considerations Regarding the New COVID-19 Vaccines

A message from the Appleton Health Department:
We will be holding two COVID-19 vaccination clinics for kids who are 5-11 years old next week, Thursday and Friday (November 18th and 19th). We are not sending the information and link to register out to the general public, but are sending it directly to the Appleton schools - please see attached flyer. These clinics run from 3-6pm, at our current Appleton COVID-19 clinic site, which is located in the former Best Buy on Kensington Drive in Appleton. It will be appointment only, due to staffing constraints and vaccine supply that we currently have on hand.

If families are not able to attend these clinics, they do have other opportunities to get their children vaccinated in our area. After the clinic on November 19, we will continue to have the vaccine available at our regular Thursday and Friday clinics. These clinics do have times before and/or after school if preferred. It is also available via local pharmacies (Walgreen, CVS, Smith pharmacy to name a few), ThedaCare and Ascension. It will also be available at the Outagamie County Fox River Mall site soon.

We are partnering with the Building for Kids on both dates.

Anyone who is vaccinated on the 18th or 19th will be signed up for dose #2 at two clinics we have planned on December 9 &10, at the same time (3-6pm).
