Dear Friend of the Library
This memorable year is coming to a close. But, there’s still plenty of time to count our blessings before the clock tolls midnight on December 31 and 2021 rolls in.

I know the library staff will remember the generous support and heartfelt enthusiasm of our patrons throughout these long months of the pandemic. It’s been inspiring to hear how grateful you are to have books and other materials to help make this terrible time
more bearable.

We’re told, by those in the know, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Amen, to that we say.

In the meantime, the library has plenty to sustain you during the home stretch.

For starters, check out Dolly Parton’s memoir Songteller or this year’s Pulitzer winner Interior Chinatown. If you’d like some help finding your next book, try our Bookmatch service and let our librarians hook you up with a great read that matches your reading preferences.

Don’t pass on our wide ranging magazine collection. We subscribe to 275 magazines,
including 78 electronically. From Air and Space to Yoga, all can be checked out and enjoyed at your leisure.

We’re hearing lots of talk about the 4th season of The Crown. If you need to catch up we have seasons 1 through 3 on DVD plus lots more new and vintage PBS series for binge watching during the holidays. Or stream world-class mysteries, dramas and comedies from Britain and beyond using Acorn TV

Take time to explore the history of India, Egyptian hieroglyphics, or the essential secrets of spices. Those topics and a whole host of others are offered from The Great Courses
collection found on the library’s website.

A new year always brings about new resolutions. If yours includes financial reorganization, decluttering, or a new diet, the library has books and more to help you achieve your goals.

Our 2021 goal is to continue to provide the best library service we can in as many different ways as we can.

So, here we go -- take a deep breath and let’s get through the next few months together.
