Winter weather has been making headlines across our region as of late. With snow, sleet and ice, fantasies of a winter wonderland dreamt up only months prior are quickly giving way to visions of summer fun in the sun.
Conditions were frigid to start our week. Monday passed uneventful after last weekend's ice and rain mix, and was even followed up by a welcomed climb into the 50s on Tuesday. The relative warmth, however, was short-lived as winds rose later that night ahead of a cold front and multi-day winter storm watch.
Periods of snow and freezing rain began early morning Thursday and have continued intermittently into today. Roads have been maintained and kept mostly clear, however travel should only be made if necessary.
The staff of Haven Harbour Marina Resorts is ensuring that all dry and wet stored vessels are safe and in good order by making multiple boatyard checks daily. Visit our Weather Station online for the latest.
