Hello, NAWIC Silicon Valley Chapter #99 members,

The light is shining bright and the flowers are blooming everywhere, Happy August to you all!

I hope you are having a great summer with your family and friends. It has been an awesome summer for our Chapter. We held our elections in June and voted in our new Board that will be getting prepared for the new year. I am excited to see all the amazing things this incoming board will do. They are all very driven so stay tuned and come to our meetings, you will not be disappointed...

NATIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE

14 members of our chapter attended the National Annual Conference held in Portland, OR 8/9-8/12.

Our Chapter had some unique highlights we are proud of: Kara Hermann performed her original song "Hard Hatted Woman", Kayla Alvarado delivered an inspiring speech at the closing banquet, and we were awarded a runner-up trophy for Marketing! Conference Reports will be included in next month's Newsletter.
