CDM Associate Professor Setareh Lavasani, DDS, MS, received prestigious recognition from the regents of the Global Summit. She was named one of the World’s Top 100 Dentists and Specialists for 2021 and she is the only Oral Radiologist. The Global Summits Institute is a preeminent peer-to-peer organization in recognizing leading dentists, and specialists who exemplify clinical excellence, innovation, research, organizational leadership, and entrepreneurship in serving humanity and advancing the global health care industry.

CGN Assistant Professor Bethany A. Thrasher, DNP, BSBM, RN, PHN, had her QI project abstract accepted for the electronic poster presentation at the University of Iowa health 28th National Evidence-Based Practice Conference in April 2021. 
Matt Wedel, PhD, of COMP and CPM, published a feature article in the December issue of Sky & Telescope magazine titled "The Caldwell Catalog Turns 25." Frank Timmes of the American Astronomical Society interviewed Matt about the article for the AAS Sky & Telescope Series on YouTube.
