It's been overwhelming and humbling to have had so many folks offer me their support to once again serve as your Committeewoman on the RNC. One of those people is my good friend Rep. Richard Hayes. Richard is as grassroots as they come. He served as chair of the Denton County GOP, a member of the Republican National Lawyers Association and the parliamentarian to the Republican Party of Texas. Richard has generously given his time to building the Republican Party in Texas, volunteering hundreds of hours a year to our Party. Now he's serving in the Texas Legislature and is a respected member of the Freedom Caucus. 

It's dedicated public servants like Richard that inspired me to run for re-election as National Committeewoman. I absolutely love training activists and empowering the grassroots with information and new skills. Empowering our grassroots and nurturing the next generation of activists is incredibly gratifying.

The goal of this newsletter is to provide a steady stream of information, updates, and opportunities for engagement to grassroots activists and local leaders. We encourage all of you to share this newsletter far and wide so that we maximize our outreach in preparation for 2024! We are only a couple weeks out from the Republican presidential primary kicking into full gear! The first debate is set to take place in Milwaukee on August 23rd, and I could not be more excited. Every one of our candidates taking the stage will present a far better vision for America than what Joe Biden and the Democrats are offering.

Americans stand ready to turn the page and with your help, that’s exactly what we’re going to do in 2024! That’s why the RNC recently launched “Bank Your Vote”, a nationwide campaign focused on maximizing pre-Election Day voting. With your help, our supercharged efforts to encourage, educate, and activate Republican voters on how to bank their votes as early as possible will ensure that we beat Joe Biden and the Democrats next year.

As RNC Chair, I have been travelling all over this great country and I can tell you, Republican enthusiasm is extremely high. Now, as primary season officially gets underway, it’s time to turn that energy into action! Join us by gathering with fellow Republicans in your neighborhoods and communities to hold watch parties for the first official debate. Let’s take advantage of the opportunity in front of us and begin to build the groundswell that will power us from now until November next year.

Beat Biden

In Joe Biden’s America, Americans are poorer, cities and our communities are less safe, energy is more expensive , the border is overrun, and our enemies are emboldened. Americans cannot afford four more years of Biden and his disastrous policies.

What you need to know:

America is on the wrong track

• 65% of the country thinks the nation is on the wrong track.
• In Biden’s America, savings are down, incomes are down, and economic confidence is down.
• 60% of workers report living paycheck-to-paycheck – including 73 percent of millennials – with more people forced to pick up a side hustle to make ends meet.
• Credit card balances are now at an all-time high.
• 74% say their financial situation is not improving, with almost half saying their financial situation is actively “getting worse” under Biden.

Cost of Living

• Americans are paying the price for Biden’s anti-American energy agenda.
• On average, Americans have lost over $2,250 paying increased energy costs since Biden took office.
• Gas prices are more than $1 per gallon more expensive than when Biden took office, and he has threatened to veto bills that would increase domestic energy production, reform the permitting processes, and unleash American energy.
• Nearly 20 million households are behind on their utility bills.
• Biden’s $1.9 trillion “stimulus” sent inflation soaring, with Americans forced to pay higher prices for virtually everything.
• Americans have lost over $10,000 on average paying for the increased cost of living since Biden took office.  
• Real weekly wages have fallen nearly every month since Biden and Democrats passed their wasteful $1.9 trillion "stimulus."

Education

• Biden slow walked reopening school for months, even letting teachers’ union bosses and major campaign funders dictate CDC guidance.
• National test results in elementary school math and reading have plummeted 5 points in reading and 7 points in mathematics compared to 2020, the largest average score decline in reading since 1990, and the first ever score decline in mathematics. 
• Only 33% and 36% of fourth-graders are proficient in reading and math, respectively.
• Eighth-graders are worse: 31% were proficient in reading, 26% in math.

Crime

• Last year, at least nine cities, seven of which are Democrat-run, saw record homicides.
• In Biden’s first year, at least 12 major U.S. cities – all Democrat-run – set new homicide records.

Border

• 7 million illegal immigrants have crossed the border since Biden took office. 
• This includes the 1.4 million gotaways have escaped past Border Patrol into the U.S.
• Border officials say that the official number of gotaways vastly undercounts the illegal immigrants who make it into the U.S.
• Homeland Security Investigations estimates that Mexican cartels are now making $13 billion a year smuggling illegal immigrants into the U.S.
• Illicit drugs are flowing into the country at an alarming rate with only 5 to 10% being intercepted as border officials struggle to contain the smuggling. 
• 2,141 pounds of deadly fentanyl was seized at the southern border in June alone, with much more getting through.
• Since Biden took office, more than 21 tons of fentanyl have crossed the southern border, enough to kill 9.7 billion people.

The bottom line:

Americans are worse off under Joe Biden and they know it. Republicans offer a vision of prosperity for all, and the Republican primary candidates are campaigning across the country every day bringing their vision directly to the American people, not hiding in Delaware like Joe Biden. 

Bidenflation Is On The Rise...Again!

Hardworking Americans are struggling to stay afloat financially as Bidenomics continues to drain the wallets of families and businesses across the country.

What you need to know:

• Bidenflation isn’t over yet.
• The latest Consumer Price Index shows year-over-year inflation ticked up last month and remains more than twice the rate when Biden took office.
• Prices have risen by 16.9% since Biden took office – and Americans are still reeling.
• On a year-over-year basis, inflation under Biden has averaged 6.1% – more than double the level of inflation seen under any of the last four presidents.
• With inflation having eaten away at wage gains, more and more Americans are struggling financially.
• Bidenflation outpaced wages for a majority of Biden’s presidency; real average hourly earnings were negative for 25 months and real average weekly earnings were negative for 26 months.
• Americans’ finances are being decimated.
• 61% of Americans report living paycheck-to-paycheck. 
• The average middle-class household has lost over $33,000 in real wealth in just the past year.
• Credit card balances are above $1 trillion for the first time and household debt is now at an all-time high. 
• Starter home price increases are now outpacing wage gains and home prices just hit record highs in nearly two-thirds of the country, making the dream  of owning a home increasingly out of reach.
• With new vehicle prices near an all-time high and interest rates jumping dramatically, this is now the “least affordable car market in modern history."

The bottom line:

As working-class families struggle to make ends meet thanks to inflation, voters know Democrats are to blame for rising prices.
