Happy New Year!!

Welcome 2022! This time of year we tend to look back at where we've been and look forward to what may come. The mind loves these kinds of exercises. But the thoughts can wreak havoc on the emotions creating lots of stress if the stories don't match what we "think" was done well or what we wanted or what used to be. The mind is a beautiful thing when we can simply observe it and not fall into the trap of believing the stories it tells us.

This year more than ever is a great time to begin or enrich the communion with, the connection we have with the inner frequency of our body; to be present and aware of our own being, our true self. Through periods of meditation and living in the present moment, when we place our conscious attention in what is happening right now, we can observe the mind and the stories it tells. The stories based on the past, the future, societal conditioning - all the factors that can draw us away from being ourselves. We are each beautiful unique beings with amazing abilities waiting to be realized.

Awareness arises by living in the moment. We are here to learn to be, relaxed in a state of being rather than being caught up in mental self-judgement. This is a time to become in touch with the internal witness, the observer, that never leaves and never changes. The observer is our own inner wisdom stepping forward to guide us.

In Human Design January 22nd marks the beginning of a new annual cycle referred to as the Rave New Year. Later this month I'll send an email with information on the influences that this new year will present us with. I'll share what to watch for and provide tips on how to manage our own reactions to the ever-changing world we live in.

For now, take time for yourself. Allow yourself time to commune with your inner spirit, your inner wisdom. Consider becoming a detached observer of your mind and what's going on in the world around you. Give yourself time to check with your inner wisdom when you feel emotion arising from something someone or some group says or does. Use that awareness to move gracefully through life.

I wish you Peace, Joy and Love for the coming new year.

Sending you Love & Light!
Linda
