Thanks so much to everyone who attended the parent/student meeting on Sunday. Based on our conversation, we are even more confident about the viability of a production of Godspell Junior in an outdoor/prerecorded format this spring, with the goal of filming the show before Memorial Day so that we can stream our recording in June. While the rehearsal schedule will require some flexibility of format as we await the lifting of the 10-person limit for gatherings, we can say with confidence that the majority of rehearsals will be held on Sunday afternoons.

If you were in the meeting, you know that the important next step in making this plan official is the audition process. Without a very committed cast, the show can't go on! We are asking that everyone who is interested in participating in this project sign up here for an audition time, even if it's just to let us know that you don't want a solo but you still want to be in the production. We'll be back in full swing on Sunday, a youth only class at 10.00 am, beginning a series looking at Pastor Pete's new book. This week's theme is Cross.

Youth Group @ 4 pm, online, and we'll run youth group in conjunction with auditions for the musical. We'll open and close with some quickfire games and in the middle we'll have a discussion around the theme of power and authority. The session is slated to run to 5.30 if all the audition slots are filled, which we hope they will be!

As Daniel hinted above, while we await the lifting of 10-person limits, rehearsals and all other youth gatherings will be online, but we will be conscious as we schedule them not to overload you with screen time on Sundays.

While local COVID statistics will largely determine the return date for youth music ensembles, we currently project a February 14 start date for all three ensembles, including an outdoor choir experience. On either 2/14 or whenever we can return, the Sunday schedule will look like this:
