A Generous Donor has offered a $100,000 Matching Challenge Grant for 2022

Jesus said, “I was hungry, and you gave me food, I was thirsty, and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was sick, and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.” … and Jesus finishes, “Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.” (Matt. 25:35,36, 40)
 
These words of Jesus summarize the mission of FaithWorks.
 
To help us deepen our understanding of this mission, this year’s FaithWorks theme are words of The Most Rev. Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, from his book Dethroning Mammon.

“Abundance and grace call us to be generous and trusting.”
 
His words remind all of us of how much we have to be grateful for. God has given us abundantly through grace. He also reminds us of our calling to respond generously, trusting in God for our well-being.

A $100,000 Matching Challenge Grant for 2022

A generous donor has offered a $100,000 matching challenge grant for all new and increased donations. That means for every dollar raised over last year’s amount, by an individual or parish, FaithWorks receives an extra dollar. We encourage you to make a special effort this year –

doing a little more can make twice the difference.
