Pake South (16 Years Old and a junior at Harmony High School) caught a new Lake Bob Sandlin Jr. Lake record for Largemouth Bass with a 12.80 (previously 11.3). The bass was the largest single fish weighed in at any THSBA (Texas High School Bass Association) tournament (previously 11+). Pake won the THSBA Bob Sandlin Tournament with 4 fish weighing 22.27, securing his spot at the Regionals on Lake O’ The Pines. His next tournament is on Lake Tawakoni where he and his partner Eric Lopez won the Regional Championship last season. Pake is fishing solo this year.
