Good Afternoon St. Stephen Families,

Trunk or Treat was a great success last week! It was great fun seeing everyone. Thank you to everyone who volunteered for the event.

Today is the final day of the first trimester. Please watch for an email next Thursday for the link to view your child's report card.

Thank you to Lisa and Michael Lopez for completing our sidewalk outside the Art Room and thank you to the Vega family for trimming our bushes by the front office. Help with maintaining our property is always greatly appreciated.

Making Waves is almost here and the donations have been coming in. Please remember that each family is required to collect $100 in donations for this fundraiser. Reach out to friends and family and ask them to support our school.

Please be sure to read through the entire newsletter to stay informed.

Peace,

Linda Umoh

If your child has an interest in becoming an Altar Server, there will be two training sessions in November. The training takes place in the main church.

Nov. 13 - 1 pm to 3 pm

Nov. 14 - 2 pm to 4 pm

Students who are trained and scheduled for weekend Masses are able to altar serve at school Masses. Please have your child attend one of these training sessions if they are interested in joining this ministry.
Everyone needs to be updated with their safe environment and fingerprints in order to volunteer in the school or to chaperone a field trip. Safe environment and fingerprints are good for 5 years. Attached below are the instructions on how to get your safe environment certificate and to have your fingerprints done. If you have any questions please contact Karen Biase at kbiase@sscsfl.org or call the front office at 813-741-9203 ext. 1100. Click the link here for information regarding fingerprints. Click here for more information on safe environment.

Public Library Haal Pass
The Haal Pass allows our students to access public library resources with just their student ID number and Pin. Students will use their student ID number (from FACTS) and their password of 4321 to log into the HCPLC.org site. This allows them to check out physical copies of books as well as digital books, audiobooks, and any other materials available from the public library. Students can also use this account to check out ebooks on Overdrive or Libby, the digital reader programs used by the public library.
