BOCA RATON, Fla.—Healthy Eyes Advantage (HEA) has formed a strategic partnership with the Opticians Association of America (OAA) to support the OAA’s mission of advancing the optical profession and enhancing recognition of the vital position that opticians hold in the delivery of comprehensive eyecare. Under the arrangement, HEA is the preferred purchasing and practice solutions partner for the OAA’s more than 18,000 members, and HEA will provide broad support to the advocacy initiatives of the OAA.

“HEA is pleased to kick off the new year by announcing this important collaboration with the OAA,” said HEA chairman and CEO Jim McGrann. “Opticians have long comprised a significant and important constituent group in HEA’s nationwide community of independent eyecare professionals (IECPs), and the HEA team salutes the valuable role that opticians play in the eye care delivery continuum.
