Dear CVHS Families,
Parent and Student Input Needed
The Chartiers Valley School District is proud of its rigorous curricular programming and activities. The CV Curriculum Council, which is made up of administration, curriculum leaders, and department heads, works collaboratively to ensure that all academic programming is relevant to student needs, and aligned to the expectations set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
This year, the Curriculum Council is conducting a needs assessment of the Science, Music, and Physical Education/Health curriculums to evaluate current academic programming and determine strengths and areas of development.
This process includes surveying teachers, students, and parents. Please take a moment to answer a brief parent/guardian survey regarding your child's experiences with the Science, Music, and PE/Health curriculum.
The surveys close at 11:59 pm tonight, Monday, November 1.
Testing District Message System TOMORROW
Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 2, CVSD will test the messaging system in preparation for the winter season. In the event of a school closure inclement weather, COVID-19, or other unforeseen circumstance, the District will shift to remote learning via Google Classroom (K-8) and Schoology (9-12), following the guidelines outlined on the District website.
This is also a good time to make sure you are able to access your child's remote learning platform.
