We don't perceive this as work in the traditional sense but rather a delightful continuation of our passion, which we love to share with our students. Whether we are at sea or in our home studio, our dedication to fostering your growth as an artist remains the same. Please remember, our travel arrangements are designed to accommodate our commitment to your learning; it's the heart of what we do.

Our ability to travel and provide feedback on your art isn't merely a business arrangement; it's a symbiotic relationship that fuels our shared passion.
So, please, never hesitate to reach out. Your artistic endeavors and growth are not an interruption but an integral part of our daily routine, whether we're cruising on the Mediterranean or nestled in our home studio. Plus, people bring me coffee!

Painting before Personal Art Coaching
Painting After Personal Art Coaching
I've worked on this morning and glazed a bit on the back of the pant leg, under the pant leg, which I think brought it forward better. I also darkened the back of the stirrup, which seemed to lighten up the front of it. I darkened the back of the horse a bit and finished the spur.
Do you think the points are long enough? I'm just not sure.
What a fun and fulfilling project this is.
Thanks so much!
Pat
Ginger Note: Even though these were subtle changes, the final painting is just that much better because of the corrections. Take your paintings to the next level...have an Art Coach on your side!

ATTENTION ALL PURPLE MEMBERS
Taking a photo is just the first step...
| |
When I'm out exploring and photographing the world, my focus isn't merely on the instant when I press the shutter button. Instead, I ponder deeply about the potential of the captured image, its transformative power and what it might eventually become.
Every image I take opens up a realm of possibilities. It could serve as a detailed reference for a painting, turning the static photograph into vibrant brushstrokes. Or it might remain as it is - a visual reminder, a source of inspiration when painting a similar subject. The image's journey, therefore, extends far beyond the moment it's captured, unfolding into a world of endless creative possibilities.
Purple Members, be looking for a video coming soon that will show you some of the steps I take when working with the photos from a trip.
