Educational Fair

October 15 in Durham at NCCU

9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Mi Éxito, la Universidad is an annual educational fair for Hispanic parents and families interested in supporting their children in the journey to obtain higher education. It is free and open to Hispanic parents and secondary (middle and high school) students. 

This year, Mi Éxito, la Universidad, will be hosted by North Carolina Central University (NCCU) in Durham on Saturday, October 15, at 9:00 am - 3:30 pm. Online registration materials are available on the Mi Éxito, la Universidad webpage.

 The NC Society of Hispanic Professionals (NCSHP) has a variety of programs to promote the education of Hispanic youth at all scholastic levels. Please see the NCSHP website for additional information.

We are excited to share with you the announcement of the 15^th Annual Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest, sponsored by Optimum and TelevisaUnivision. This year, we are asking middle and high school students to think about Hispanics that have made, or are making, connections within their communities. Prizes include a $3,000 scholarship and iPads! 

The contest begins today (9/15) and submissions will be accepted through October 31.  Also this year, we have a special gift for the teachers who sponsor the most entries!  More information including the official rules can be found
