Lent
Lenten Music Series

During Lent, we will share special music in coordination with our Wednesday Noon Prayer services. Videos will be viewable anytime afterward as well. You will hear Baroque music on the organ, classical flute, jazz piano, acoustic guitar, contemporary vocals and harp from our talented music staff and volunteers. We invite you to take a few moments out of the busyness of the day to listen and reflect on God's goodness through the beauty of music.

Lenten Sermon Series:
The Examined Life
Feb. 21-March 28

It's been said that the unexamined life is not worth living. This Lent, in honor of spiritual practices like prayer and the Ignatian Examen, we'll be exploring the intersection of spiritual practice and divine encounter. Join us, along with notable figures like Jacob, Jesus, and Ruth, as we discover how spiritual practices like guided self reflection, meditation, and even friendship can lead to encounters with God.

Announcing New Mental
Health Ministry Team

The Service and Justice Committee, with the approval of Church Council, is proud to announce the
formation of a new FCCGE Mental Health Ministry Team. During a typical year, one in four members of
our church have likely suffered from some form of mental health struggle. Results from our church
listening sessions over the last few years have consistently listed mental health as a primary concern.
This new mental health ministry team is being created to address the mental health needs of our
congregation, as well as the community beyond our walls. Please feel free to contact Chair, Roger
Hughes for more information or to share any issues you would like to
pass on to this new, vibrant team.
