- The Winnebago County Health Department will be closed December 31 - January 3. Contact tracing, data dashboard updates and outreach to positive COVID-19 cases will resume on Sunday, Jan. 3. Daily Situation Updates and all other services will resume on Monday, Jan. 4.

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) launched a new COVID-19 vaccine data page that includes summary metrics for allocation, shipment, and total vaccine administered, as well as a graph displaying the number of vaccinations administered per day. DHS plans to update these visualizations at 2 p.m. every Tuesday. Read the announcement here.

How to Protect Yourself from COVID-19
- Wear a mask.
- Stay at least 6 feet apart from people you do not live with.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially before eating and after going to the bathroom, blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing.
- If you do not have soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
- Do not attend gatherings with people you do not live with.
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. Cough or sneeze into an elbow if no tissue is available. Wash your hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household disinfectant cleaning spray or wipe.
