July is for the locals...Happy Independent Retailer Month to our amazing small business owners! Meet the faces behind the businesses in our Downtown Business Spotlights. Then at the end of the month show them some love by shopping during the annual Summer Sidewalk Sales July 28th- 30th!


Mark your calendars for these can't miss summer classics...

Jam out to Chain Station as they headline Bands on the Bricks tonight (July 12th).


Run, walk or cheer on East End Mile participants followed by a FREE Local Short Film Festival produced by the Boulder Film Commission tomorrow evening (July 13th). (BYOLC - Bring your own lawn chairs!)


This Friday, July 14th meet us at the Creek for Tube to Work Day.


Perceive the beauty of downtown through an artistic lens as you stroll through the Pearl Streets Art Fest this weekend (July 14th-16th).

Pearl Street Arts Fest 2023

Friday, July 14, 3-8 pm | Saturday, July 15, 10-7 pm | Sunday, July 16, 10-5 pm

Downtown's 43rd annual Pearl Street Arts Fest is for the Picassos, doodlers and everyone in between. You won't want to miss out on this free, juried arts fest exploring an array of handmade pieces ranging from oil paintings, sculptures, jewelry and more from nearly 100 artists! Kids of all ages are invited to Open Studios' Art Tent for family-friendly arts and craft activities.


This year's commemorative poster is entitled Honey Comb by Taylor Clendennon.

Since 2011, Downtown Boulder and Art Source International select an artist's work to feature on the poster. Pick up a copy of the limited edition print at Taylor's booth (1212) or at Art Source.


Make a day of your art-filled experience by visiting the district's local galleries, take a self-guided Alley Gallery Tour and participating in the free Walking Mural Tour.

New on the Bricks...Teton Gravity Research (TGR Boulder)! They are a brand that "believes in living the dream. Traveling. Pushing the limits. Engaging with life at each contact point from product all the way to experience."

*Stay ahead of the game and register your team for the first ever Boulder Street Soccer Classic that happens on Sunday, August 13th from 10 am-8 pm. Registration deadline is Monday, August 7th**!

East End Mile & East End Short Film Festival ,

Thursday, July 13th | East End Mile 5 PM | East End Short Film Festival 9 PM |

Any cinephiles in the house? Join us after the East End Mile on 16th Street for the first of its kind Local Short Film Festival!


Bring a lawn chair to this FREE event as the Boulder County Film Commission showcases local filmmaker's short films starting at dusk (around 9 pm). Each film will be followed with a special Q&A with the filmmaker:
