"SLOW DOWN"
Every year for ten years or so, my goal has been to read the Bible through. It has been a tremendous blessing. We can never get enough Word into our hearts. However, when it comes to the Word, quality is more important than quantity. Recently, God spoke this Word to me:
 
“Walk with Me through scripture. There is no need to run. Slow down and allow Me to walk you through My Word.” 
Personal Prayer
"Prayers to a Faithful God"
“The Rock, his work is perfect; For all his ways are justice: A God of faithfulness and without iniquity, Just and right is he” (Deuteronomy 32:4).
 
Pray this Prayer to a Faithful God…in Accordance with His Will.
Corporate Prayer
"Won't You Stay Awhile?"
The sweetest words one can hear from a friend is “stay awhile.” The two strangers requested Jesus to stay awhile when reaching the end of their destination on that long hilly trek to Emmaus. The roads were darkening as the sun was setting; the travelers were weary from the 20-mile journey from Jerusalem. The scripture records in Luke 24:29 that they said to their house guest those precious words, “abide with us.” Unbeknownst to them, their hospitality would quickly pay off, for Jesus would soon reveal Himself to them.
