THE BERLIN BULLETIN - July 2023
A Message From The Mayor's Office
As a result of all the great input and feedback received at the last Mayor and Council Meeting regarding Heron Park, we’ve added a Public Work Session of the Mayor and Council on Monday, July 10th at 6 pm. There will be time allotted for public comments and more information forthcoming in the meeting packet, but in the meantime, I’d like to encourage your input through our “Suggestions” page so that we can get it all compiled for the council members to review together. Please use this form to submit your ideas, feedback, and suggestions.

Thank you to all the citizens and visitors in Berlin who stopped by On What Grounds for Coffee with the Mayor last week for our first of monthly opportunities to chat in an informal setting. Save the Date: The next “Meet the Mayor” will be a game of Basketball at Henry Park on Wednesday, July 26th at 4:00 pm. More thanks are due to all the local businesses who hosted Maryland State Comptroller Brooke Lierman for her visit to Berlin during the Maryland Municipal League Conference.

The Berlin Horticultural Advisory Committee gave a detailed update about their work beautifying Berlin and we’re so grateful for all their work around town. Committees like the BHAC only work because of the dedication of our fantastic volunteers. Thank you to everyone who has answered the call for Volunteers on our Boards, Commissions, and Committees. Interviews will be underway this month and we look forward to welcoming new members soon!

Please continue to share your thoughts and feedback with me—I can be reached by phone at 410-641-3858 and by email at MayorZack@berlinmd.gov, as well as through the Suggestions page on our website, www.berlinmd.gov.
