First Semester Finals: Week of December 14, 2020

The first semester of the 2020-2021 school year will end on Friday, December 18th. Ending the semester prior to the winter break is new for SVUSD students and staff. During the week of finals (Dec. 14-18), all SVUSD high schools will follow our current hybrid bell schedule; with all students online on Monday, Hybrid A students on-campus Tuesday/Wednesday, and Hybrid B students on-campus Thursday/Friday. Academic Support will not be offered during the week of finals

As in prior years, SVUSD teachers will continue to have the discretion to determine what the final exam, task or project will entail for their respective courses. However, this year, Hybrid students may elect to complete their final assessment on-campus (in-person) or at home (online) on their scheduled day. Hybrid students choosing to complete their final assessment from home on the day that they are normally scheduled to be in-person will not be penalized for doing so. Please contact your student’s school directly should you have any additional questions.
