BE MOTIVATED BY LOVE
Greetings!
One of the most well-known verses in the Bible comes from John 3:16, and it's all about love. You probably know it already: "For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that whoever believes in him shall have everlasting life."

We talk a lot about LOVE in February, and we should! Love is to be celebrated! And when it comes to success, nothing is a more powerful motivator than love.

My hope this February, which contains both a celebration of love and a celebration of Black History Month, you'll grab hold of the inspirational power of love. And not only this month, but on every day of the year, I send my love right back to you! You are the BEST!
Love & Blessings Always,
Hattie
A WORD ABOUT BLACK HISTORY MONTH
Black History Month & Theme for 2021
Black History Month is an annual observance originating in the United States, where it is also known as African American History Month. It began as a way of remembering important people and events in the history of the African diaspora.

It is celebrated in February in the United States and Canada, while in Ireland, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom, it is observed in October.

The Theme for Black History this year is The Black Family: Representation, Identity, and Diversity, as set by ASALH (Association for the Study of African American Life and History)

Naturally, the events this year are a bit different than in previous years, but for more info, check out ASLAH's schedule of events below.

Vice President Kamala Harris may be new on the job, but she has already beaten her boss at one record. While President Biden had no tie-breaking votes in the Senate, VP Harris already has two--both related to relief measures for the COVID-19 crisis.
A SPECIAL TRIBUTE OF LOVE
TO MY LATE COUSIN--LIKE A SISTER
Barbara Ann Munden (Bobbi): My cousin and My Sister
What can I say about this beautiful and loving spirit and soul, Barbara Munden?
She has been more than a cousin to me; but also, a sister. We are cousins by way of birth and sisters by way of our hearts, friendships, and LOVE.

I will use her name to spell out the Godly tribute to this beautiful person who has gone too soon, but God knows best:

BARBARA’s Magnificent spirit lives on in Her Name:

B: in Barbara is for BEAUTIFUL—Inside and out— Barbara had a Beautiful, sweet Spirit.

A: is for ADMIRED: She was admired by everyone, not only for her personality and her talent but also for her caring Spirit.

R: is for RESPECTED: She was well respected—from the young to the old, based on how she carried herself; What you see is what you get. She was “The Real Deal.”

B: is for BRILLIANT: She was brilliant in so many ways, especially demonstrating her extraordinary talents and God-given gift of playing the piano which she shared with churches and on other occasions. We marveled at how she could listen to a song and then play that very same melody

A: is for AFFECTIONATE: Barbara was very affectionate and didn’t mind showing her love and affection to persons to whom she felt close. She was also a hugger and did so often to let you know how pleased she was with a person’s caring spirit

R: is for RESOURCEFUL: She was resourceful in a creative manner. If she didn’t know something, she knew how to seek resources to get the job done with excellence.

A: is for ALWAYS: She was Always encouraging & supporting others to be all that God intended them to be. Her children (Karen & Preston) can attest to her incredible strength of being the motherly type to
most anyone she would meet.
That’s who my Dear Cousin/Sister Barbara was.
With much LOVE, May she Rest in Peace.
Lovingly & Sisterly,
Hattie & Family
(Hattie, Cheryl, Charrell, Sean, Wayne, Cameron, & Reagan)

Cheryl also came down to Florida with me to help unpack

I expect to see her and Wayne often--with masks and socially distancing, of course.
