DRAMA & IMPROV CLUB

OPEN TO GRADES 6-12

Meeting dates: MAR: 2, 9, 16, 23; APR: 13, 20, 27

Meeting time: Wednesdays 3:15 - 4:15

Registration fee: $60 (includes t-shirt)

Students will learn about and participate in activities regarding stagecraft, theatre vocabulary, improvisation, drama games, public speaking, social emotional skills, character development, and will have the opportunity to participate in various skits and monologues. Limit 20 students.

BOWLING CLUB

OPEN TO GRADES 9-12

Location: Ten Pin Lanes (parents provide transportation)

Meeting dates: MAR: 4, 11 (12:45), 18, 25, APR: 15, 29

Meeting time: Fridays 3:45 - 5:15

Registration fee: $110 (covers 2 games/week, shoe rental, and t-shirt)

Bowling Club gives students an opportunity to become involved in their high school and teaches good-sportsmanship and fundamentals for a lifetime activity!

AFTER SCHOOL BALLET

OPEN TO GRADES 1-5

Sponsored and offered by The Louisville Ballet. No registration fee.

Meeting dates: MAR: 16, 23, 30; APR: 13, 20, 27

Meeting time: Wednesdays 3:15 - 4:15

Student max: 10

2022-23 ENROLLMENT

We have begun enrollment for the 22-23 school year. You should have received an Adobe Sign Enrollment and Financial Contract via email. If you did not receive the digital document, please let us know. To ensure placement for the 22-23 school year, you will need to complete the enrollment process by March 15, 2022.

Summit Academy’s 9th Annual Bluegrass, Bourbon & BBQ will be held on Friday, May 20!

This year's event will return to the Muhammad Ali Center, overlooking the scenic Ohio River. In addition to the food, music, open bar, and bourbon samplings, you'll have the opportunity to support Summit Academy with the popular Bourbon Wall, live and silent auctions, and more!

REMINDER: If your student has been vaccinated for COVID-19, please be sure to submit documentation to our main office. We use this information when determining actions necessary for students who have been exposed to COVID-19.

COVID-19 SAFETY GUIDELINES

Temperatures should be taken prior to leaving your home
If your child is feeling unwell, please keep them at home
Masks should be worn indoors, except when eating lunch or directed by their teacher
Teachers will extensively review mask, hygiene and spacing expectations
Hand sanitizing stations will be used throughout the day
Lunch will be held in the cafeteria with limited and assigned seating per table
No microwaves available
Water bottles to be brought daily by students as fountains will be closed
