Mark your calendar for the first week of November, as your student Science Council presents a week of activities: Mental Health Night, Science Carnival Games, Rapid Fire Research Presentations, Science Trivia Night, Observatory Viewing Night and the 2015 blockbuster movie, “The Martian.”

‘Great and Small’ at Science Unwrapped Oct. 29
You may not like mosquitoes, but they like you. USU researcher Norah Saarman speaks about tracking these pesky critters, with satellites and genetics, at Science Unwrapped, Friday, Oct. 29, at 7 pm in ESLC 130. The free presentation will also be livestreamed from the Science Unwrapped website.

College of Science Offers
Student Hardship Fund
The College of Science Hardship Fund provides one-time, emergency financial assistance to students within the college who are experiencing a crisis. This fund is separate from the university’s Student Emergency Fund, from which science majors may also apply for assistance. To access the fund’s website, select “Students” from the main navigation bar on the College of Science home page and select “Student Hardship Fund” from the drop-down menu.
