In Memory of Rabbi Sacks, Z"L
This week students in lower school through upper school honored Lord Rabbi Dr. Jonathan Sacks z"l during a virtual assembly. Tehillim were recited, and students watched a short clip of Rabbi Sacks answering the question "why do bad things happen to good people?" A Padlet was also created, and we hope you will help us fill it out by choosing one resolution for each area of Torah, Mitzvot, and Acts of Kindness. You can access the Padlet here.

College Choices
Juniors and seniors at RMBA are very focused on finding the right colleges for them. Fortunately, many admissions officers from universities are making time for virtual information sessions with our students. Throughout October and November, Beren students hear from University of Maryland, Yeshiva University, Brandeis University, Binghamton University, Rutgers University, and University of Michigan - 6 schools which are historically the most applied to schools from Beren students.

ERJCC Jewish Book & Art Festival
Oliver Lapin Family Experience:
Drive-In Bedtime Stories
Sunday, November 15, 2020
6:00 p.m.
We are inviting families to come to a drive-in at the J to experience music, fun, and two special bedtime stories. First, we will be hearing from Lisa Rose, author of A Zombie Vacation. The friendly zombie in her book takes a vacation to Israel and enjoys floating in the Dead Sea. We will also hear form Erica S. Perl, author of The Ninth Night of Hanukkah! The family in this book finds out their new neighbors are Hanukkah heroes.
Families will be in their cars or in folding chairs in their designated spot, and the authors will read their stories on a large movie screen. We will have a DJ and carpool karaoke session from the comforts of the car.
