In light of the recent spike in cases, our COVID-19 team met Monday to discuss Christmas Eve services. The team collectively agreed that all services will go on as planned -- the 5, 7, and 9 will be in person and streamed online; the 11 will be online only. However, we will be working to make sure everyone is properly spaced and wearing a mask. Please watch this special message from Pastor Don about these and other precautions that will be taken to keep our congregation and community safe during Christmas Eve services. We look forward to celebrating with you - both in person and online! |

Mission Moment: Turkey Fry Buys Christmas Gifts for 12 Local Kids
No words can do justice to the IMPACT your support of the annual Archie Carver Turkey Fry has on our community each year. This Christmas, several local youth, along with many others in our community, will be blessed because so many of you bought turkeys. Watch the video to see more.

End of Year Giving Reminders
As Robin Teal mentioned in her financial update this past weekend, we are so grateful for your generosity this year. In the two weeks since announcing our December goal of 220,000, we've already surpassed $160,000. We still need your help to reach our goal and provide support to our Youth and local missions. And when we talk about missions, we're talking about the video above - being able to love on our community and give them food, clothing, shelter, and a little less worry.
If you feel called to give, here are some key dates to keep in mind to ensure your gift counts toward the 2020 fiscal year & tax year:
In Person Giving
The glass double doors in front of the office are open from 8:00 AM until 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. There is a drop safe located in the hallway. You can also use the tithe boxes located at the gym and Sanctuary entrances, as you enter or exit service. Your contribution must be in the drop safe or tithe box before 3:00 PM Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Giving Via Mail
Gifts must be postmarked by Thursday, December 31, 2020.
Text Giving
Text "HFUMC" to 73256 to give using your mobile device.
Online Giving
Online gifts must be processed by 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2020.
