STARTING JUNE 6 WE ARE
FULLY OPEN!
The Governor of Ohio has lifted all previous restrictions due to COVID. Here is what that means for us at Northminster.
SEATING:
We are no longer required to wear masks or physically distance from one another. Beginning June 6, all churchgoers may choose where they want to sit in the sanctuary and with whom they want to sit. The masking tape has been removed. However, if you have health concerns for any reason, feel free to wear a mask and maintain physical distancing from others.

The ONLY reservations needed are for those who would prefer seating with social distancing. In that case contact Barb in the office and we will prepare some designated seating.
LIVE STREAMING:
We will live stream the service on Sunday, June 6, but Session will decide whether to continue this after June 6. The public recording of the full service requires the church to investigate and pay royalities for the copyrights of the music we sing. During COVID we were severely restricted in the breadth and creativity of our music program. We will return to our previous practice of audio recording the sermon only and posting the sermon to the church website. The sermon will always be available for our members and/or visitors who are traveling or are homebound.
USHERS:
We now need to take an assessment of the returning usher volunteers. All ushers that were scheduled for usher duty prior to COVID will be placed on an usher schedule going forward unless you call or email Barb at the church office to ask for removal from this volunteer duty.

Session is exploring a new usher procedure that will only require one usher, but this still needs to be discussed and approved. Regardless, we still need a team of people willing to participate in the Sunday service. Unless you contact Barb you will be placed on a new schedule to be distributed in June.
LASTLY...!
We welcome EVERYONE this Sunday, June 6, and pray you are ready to come back and worship with your church family.
FROM PASTOR JIM...
In the calendar of the church year, the Liturgical calendar, we have now entered "Ordinary Time." That simply means that for the next few months there are no major church holidays. It means we come together as the assembly of God's people to recognize God's grace and love for us and to bring God our praise and worship. We do it for no other reason than that it is what we are called to do.
This Sunday when you come to worship you will see that there are no longer any restrictions on seating. Hopefully this marks a permanent return to another kind of ordinary. Hopefully this marks our return to ordinary life in our congregation. Please join us as we restart the ordinary in our lives.

Blessings,
Pastor Jim
