GGUSD Students Celebrate Black History Month
Paine Elementary School students celebrated Black History Month by learning about the contributions of Black Americans throughout the course of our nation’s history. Students learned about influential inventors, authors, artists, political leaders and more. They collaborated to create displays to share with the school community.
The amazing educators at Rancho Alamitos High School created a periodic table in honor of Black History Month for students to learn about the works of Black Americans including artists, activists, musicians, political leaders, and more. Our wonderful educators are always coming up with creative ideas to make instruction engaging! Kudos to teacher Elizabeth Hafeli who spearheaded this project!
