SCHEDULE

6:30-8:30am – Equipment Check & Rack Heights

7:00-8:30am – Weigh-Ins

(In order by Lot Number)

8:30am – MANDATORY Rules Meeting

9:00am – Lifting Begins

4:00pm - Awards Ceremony

PLEASE STAY FOR AWARDS IF YOU CAN. We will ask you to pay for shipping if you request your medal to be mailed. If you do request this, please keep in mind that mailing awards is not a top priority immediately following a meet. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Weigh-Ins begin promptly at 7:00am and will be done in order by Lot Number. Have your ID and 1st attempts in kilograms ready. If you are not present when your name is called, you will be called again after all other athletes have weighed in.

Rack Heights are important! We will help you find the correct rack height for squat & bench press (with foot blocks if necessary) so you are comfortable on the platform.

Equipment Check is imperative. We need to see everything you'll be wearing on the platform.

ROSTER

The preliminary roster is posted with flight assignments. Flight A will complete all 3 squat attempts before Flight B begins squats. The same will occur with respect to Flight C.

The roster will be finalized on January 8 with lot numbers for weigh-ins.

LIABILITY WAIVER

All athletes are REQUIRED to fill out the liability waiver. Please click below to submit your waiver entry.

ATHLETE CHANGE FORM

USA Powerlifting weight classes are changing in 2022. This means that the weight class you registered in has likely changed. Please verify in the roster that this is the weight class you would like to compete in. Remember to look at the qualifying totals as well.

If you wish to change your weight class, withdraw from this meet, or transfer to another one, or make any other changes, please do so using the Athlete Change Form. Do not email or message us to make changes.

You can submit changes at any time but the roster will be final as of January 8. Transfers will not be accepted after this date because your spot cannot be filled when the roster is finalized.

REMINDER: There are NO REFUNDS if you wish to withdraw. No exceptions... ever.

BE PREPARED. LEARN THE RULES.

READ THE LIFTER'S HANDBOOK.

Don't forget your absolute necessities. You need a singlet, t-shirt, and knee high socks for deadlift. You may also use wrist wraps, a belt, and knee sleeves. Respond to this email if you have any questions about your equipment... AFTER you read the lifter's handbook. Your equipment DOES NOT have to be on the IPF approved list. We are no longer a member of the IPF. Your equipment MUST however, fit the specifications in the lifter's handbook.

This may be your very first time stepping on a USA Powerlifting platform. Even if it is not, you need to be prepared. If you think you know all of the USA Powerlifting rules... you don't. But you can start with the basics in the Lifter's Handbook. As an athlete, it is your responsibility to learn the technical rules of competition and ensure that your equipment is approved. This also includes following anti-doping/drug testing guidelines. Rules & By-Laws and Drug Testing information can be accessed at usapowerlifting.com.

We drug test 10% of our athletes by urinalysis. If you need to leave early or you need to skip the award ceremony, please do not do so without checking in with myself (Gina Hensley).

It is also a great idea to stay hydrated (hint!) so we can start the award ceremony as soon as possible!

HEY.

Did you skip over that last section?

We know. It's a lot of words. But please go back and read it. Trust us, you have time - 4.5 weeks to be exact.
