INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Web Attendance No Longer Available as of Wednesday, June 21

To conform to CUNY being a federally recognized non-attendance taking institution, as stated in the University’s long standing Verification of Student Enrollment Policy, Web Attendance will no longer be available beginning Wednesday, June 21, 2023. This decision was reached after extensive discussions with leadership from Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, as well as data analysis that showed Web Attendance utilization was significantly less than 50%. The decommissioning and date were approved by Academic Affairs and the College Senate. For more information on student enrollment requirements, review CUNY’s Verification of Student Enrollment Policy memo which preceded the linked memo in the first sentence by less than a month.

Valid ID = Green Border

The proof of COVID-19 vaccines and negative test results for all LaGuardia faculty, staff and students are no longer required as of Friday, June 16. To continue the use of our mobile app to show valid IDs for entering the College, the green border around IDs indicating health requirement clearance has been repurposed to designate that faculty and staff are current employees and that students are active and/or registered students. Those individuals whose IDs do not show a green border will have to sign in as visitors at the Public Safety entrance desks. If you have any difficulties with your mobile app ID, please contact our HelpDesk by submitting an IT HelpDesk ticket through the Faculty & Staff Portal, or by email at ITHelp@lagcc.cuny.edu, or call 718-482-6134.
