Impact National Conference

The Impact National Conference is the largest gathering focused on the civic engagement of college students in community service, service-learning, community-based research, advocacy, and other forms of social action.

This year's conference will be held March 4-6th and is free of charge! IMPACT is an opportunity to share effective practices, improve personal skills and organizational strategies, discover opportunities and resources, exchange stories, be inspired and challenged to sustain all our efforts.

Leadership Opportunity Spotlight:
Community Service Advocates
In order to make service opportunities as impactful and widely available as possible on our campus, it is important that we in the KU service community communicate, network, and collaborate on our common efforts.

The mission of the Community Service Advocates program is to help provide our KU service community intentional space to connect around overlapping initiatives, events, and programs. We hope this to be a resource to you and your organization, to better be able to promote, partner, and build on the good work that we all are doing!

Our next meeting will be online, February 15th at 6:30. To attend, sign up here! Questions? Email us at csl@ku.edu.
Upcoming Opportunity:
2021 Service Showcase
The 2021 Service Showcase is on April 22! The annual Service Showcase and Celebration recognizes a year of service and community-engaged work at KU. Due to concerns about the spread of COVID-19, the Service Showcase and Celebration will be held online instead of in-person.

The Service Showcase is an opportunity for students to share their service projects and experiences with the University community and Lawrence community partners.  Check out last year's Service Showcase presentations here!

Submit a Service Showcase Proposal here! Questions? Email us at csl@ku.edu.
