Greetings!

'Tis the Season to
Gather and Give

December has been a busy month for the NRS team as we've had tremendous success towards building meaningful relationships with our local project communities, most recently in Colorado and New Mexico. We’ve visited with dozens of landowners and families one-on-one, hosted three separate landowner dinner events, and signed leases for new participants in our projects.
In the spirit of the holidays, each of the three events we hosted in December included a sponsored food drive and NRS-matched donation to support local food shelfs. Following the NRS approach of transparency and community development, we also gave an in-depth perspective into our development process and schedule, bringing clarities to our landowners on how we develop projects.

Thanks to everyone who came out to show support for our projects and communities!

MEET WITH US
Successful Trip to CLEANPOWER - 2021, Salt Lake City, UT
On 6-8 December 2021, members of NRS’s Executive Staff and Development Teams attended the American Clean Power (ACP) Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Thousands attended this year’s highly anticipated conference and the NRS Staff took advantage of the Monday travel day and hosted a late evening kick-off social at the Lake Effect Restaurant.  This prime location and outstanding venue allowed us the opportunity to host over 75 industry leaders, utilities, contractors and professionals.  All who attended were able to get reacquainted after a long COVID hiatus.

Formal events at the Conference Center started on Tuesday and continued until Wednesday.  The NRS staff was able to arrange productive meetings with utility off-take senior representatives, equipment manufacturers and service providers.  Since this was the first year ACP included solar as part of the conference, our Director of Solar Development, Brad Wilson, and his team were able to meet with several EPC contractors to discuss our eight utility-scale solar projects.
Lunch 'N Learn

NRS is conducting active outreach to Utility members and stakeholders within the geographic area of its renewable energy projects. As a part of this effort, NRS is teaming up with RMEL to launch a "Lunch N Learn" program which will provide utilities informational updates on the current industry and market trends, while providing Continuing Education Credits to participants to support their professional development.

The NRS team plans to package the first program in January 2022 in conjunction with an outing at Top Golf. If interested, please contact Mark Russell.

PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
Bethel Solar - NRS' first solar project is now under construction!

Construction began in November on the Bethel Solar Project located in the small community of Bethel, Maine. The Bethel project is a 3-megawatt community solar project that was developed by NRS. Community solar project owner/operator Summit Ridge Energy will build and operate the project, which will provide solar energy credits to hundreds of residential customers in Maine. NRS is excited to see construction begin and looks forward to visiting the project site once it is complete and operational.
Moving In

NRS has opened a project office in historic Julesburg Colorado!

A big thanks to Sedgwick County Economic Development, for welcoming us into their building! Our office sits upstairs in the recently renovated and stunning brick building which used to be the town bank. Our landlord Shelly has the space glowing with Christmas spirit!

Happy Holidays from the NRS Staff!
We wish you and yours a joyful festive season and a flourishing New Year. Our hearts are full of gratitude for your support during this year.
Happy Holiday Season!
