We have received 1040, 1040SR and DE Resident and Nonresident tax forms and instructions. They are located outside our front entrance during our phone service hours. They can also be included in curbside pickups at your request.

Join us this month as we watch "The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975" (2011), which features footage shot by a group of Swedish journalists documenting the Black Power Movement in the United States, edited together by a contemporary Swedish filmmaker.

Crafts with Henna
Tuesday, February 23, 10:00am
Art instructor Christina DePina uses henna to create small crafts for your enjoyment and a new hobby to pursue.

Each participant will receive a natural henna cone. Participants will be contacted before class for curbside pick-up at Bear Library.

To follow along have paper, glass, or canvas ready. A small/medium paintbrush and Mod Podge is good to have on hand also.

The Delaware City Library welcomes flutist Galen Abdur-Razzaq.
Galen is a world renowned flute player and lecturer with an extensive performance career. He has performed for many universities including Penn State, Tuskegee University, and the University of Maryland. He holds a Master’s degree in Education and Performing Arts.

The Satchel Paige and Negro League Baseball show will be filled with baseball-themed magic tricks, and it will explore the life and accomplishments of baseball pitcher Satchel Paige. From his all-star touring shows, to his amazing records with the Negro Leagues, to his Hall of Fame induction as baseball's oldest rookie and oldest player, Satchel Paige is a true American original. Presented by Tommy Terrific's Wacky Magic.

Virtual Trivia Night

Join us on Kahoot! and Zoom for virtual trivia! About half an hour before 8, you will be invited to a Zoom meeting via email so registration is required. At 8, we will give you the code to join the Kahoot! game. Click on the ticketing link to register. You will need two devices to participate. You will need Zoom to view the questions and Kahoot! to answer them. There will be 4 different rounds with 15 questions each.

County Executive Meyer opens application process for 2021 scholarship program

New Castle County Executive Matt Meyer announced that the process for applying for the New Castle County Scholarship is now open. New Castle County traditional and non-traditional students who are currently enrolled in or will attend an accredited college in the Fall of 2021 are encouraged to apply online. Interested students can visit http://scholarship.nccde.org to apply.
