Kayaks!

For 2021, The DSC will be offering kayaking to all paying members at no additional fee. Kayaks are a great no-wind way to set sail on Baltimore Harbor, and we are sure you will be as thrilled as we are after your first stroke.

Kayaking lessons and orientations will be conducted frequently, beginning in April.

Camp!

2020 was our most successful camp year in our history, with 10 sold out weeks and no known COVID-19 transmissions.

We expect camp will sell out again this upcoming Summer, 2021, so we encourage parents to save and commit. Camp discounts are best through Christmas Day. Give the gift of experience your children will cherish all their lives.

Powerboats!

Powerboat Lessons were extremely popular, and - like camp - sold out in 2020. Don't miss the boat for 2021. The lessons are a ton of fun, and spots go "vvrrooom, vvrrooom" (just like our boats)!

The DSC continues to work toward a more diverse and inclusive sport.

Despite the many challenges we faced this year, we were able to launch our Sailing Instructor Training Program on time with a leaner program. Similarly, the inaugural Siebel Sailors Program was delayed, but we rallied. And though we were only able to offer Accessible Sailing to a small cohort of adaptive sailors, we finished strong.

We are so thankful for every person who placed foot or wheel upon our docks in 2020. Community Sailing Initiatives are nearly 100% funded through donor support. Sail with us, and consider supporting community sailing with a year end financial gift.

We Make a National Impact in our Sport!

The Siebel Sailors Program is a US Sailing initiative focused on our next generation of sailors. Check out US Sailing's most recent video, above, that spotlights the program. This initiative is a great step forward by US Sailing, and we are honored to be part of the change.
