Free Breakfast & Lunch for Face-to-Face Students

Beginning Monday, September 14, 2020, all students attending face-to-face classes in the Monroe County School System will have the opportunity to receive school breakfast and lunch at no charge under the USDA Seamless Summer Option Waiver. This waiver will conclude December 31, 2020
or when federal funding is depleted -- whichever happens first.

Important Reminders
  • Charge your Chromebook & bring it to school with you EVERY DAY.
  • Temperature will be checked upon arrival every day.
  • Masks are required on all buses, including transfer buses.  
  • Breakfast is Grab & Go only.
  • Commons Area is closed in the mornings. 
  • Students arriving before 7:30 a.m. will social distance in the Gym.
  • Students arriving after 7:30 a.m. will report to Homeroom on Wednesday. Beginning on Thursday September 10, students will go directly to their 1st block teacher. 
  • "Mask up" during class change & when you can't be more than 6 feet apart.
  • The water fountains have been cut off. Make sure you bring a clear container water bottle.

Mrs. Trevitt's Art I students learned about observational drawing and shading techniques, as well as the Surrealist art movement.  The students used skills practiced in class to create Surreal Handscape drawings.  

Sports News
Cross Country News
The Cross Country Team had a successful race last Thursday, October 24th            at Veterans.  The varsity girls finished 2nd and Varsity boys finished 3rd.
Justin Wachtel (1st), Ava McKallip (6th), Mary Alice Marks (JV 2nd), and
Graysen Gaylord (JV 5th) all medaled.  We had some awesome times 
with several personal records broken.

.  The Varsity team will compete this upcoming weekend at the famous Alexander/Asics Invitational in Fairburn, GA.
The team will compete at 1:55 pm and 2:30 pm.
