Happy New Year! We at OCASCR are wishing you good health and much success in your scientific endeavors in 2021. Our next OCASCR grant deadline is January 29th. We encourage you to apply for research grants, equipment grants (small and large), and education/travel grants. Although we have halted our in-person Distinguish Scientist Seminar series during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are pleased to announce that Dr. George Eisenhoffer will present our first seminar of 2021 by Zoom on February 9th. Dr. David Forsthoefel will be hosting Dr. Eisenhoffer, so please contact David-Forsthoefel@omrf.org if you would like to set up a virtual meeting with Dr. Eisenhoffer on February 9th. We hope to resume in-person seminars later in 2021; in the meantime please send your nominations for Distinguished Scientist speakers to Kelly-Gentry@OCASCR.org.

Grants will be accepted for research projects that will start on July 1, 2021, education/travel grants through June 30, 2021, and small and large equipment grants.

First-time OCASCR Awardees
We are pleased to report that several scientists recently received first-time OCASCR research grants. Congratulations to Drs. Jacquelyn Gorman (OMRF), Catherine Hunter (OUHSC), Gerwald Koehler (OSU-CHS), Michael Rudolph (OUHSC), Madhan Subramanian (OSU), Archana Unnikrishnan (OUHSC), and Raju Rajala (OUHSC). We look forward to their contributions to adult stem cell and regenerative medicine research in Oklahoma.
