California District 28 Little League Golf Tournament Seeking Sponsors
The D28 Little League Golf Tournament will take place on April 24, 2022, at Menifee Lakes Country Club. The tournament will be held as a charity event for the seven leagues located in Southwest Riverside County. These include Canyon Lake, Lake Elsinore, Menifee Valley, Murrieta, Temecula, Temescal Valley, and Wildomar leagues.

Riverside County to Offer COVID-19 Relief Program for Microbusinesses
The Riverside County Office of Economic Development will be accepting grant applications beginning February 14, 2022, at 8 AM. The grant aims to mitigate financial setbacks incurred by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is currently being carried out on a first-come, first-serve basis. A microbusiness for this grant is classified as a business with less than five employees. Click here for more information.
Restart Small Business Loans Available
The County of Riverside & AmPac Business Capital are partnering to provide emergency and ongoing capital for small businesses in Riverside County. Restart loans are available to businesses located anywhere in the county. Loans may be given for $15,000 to $30,000. Apply here.
CalOSBA Announces Grants to Expand Small Business Assistance
The California Office of the Small Business Advocate awards partners of the California Dream Fund Program. The program provides small business startups and entrepreneurs with a training and consultation course which upon completion, awards a microgrant up to $10,000. Read the full story here.

The latest REALTOR® report by the Southwest Riverside County Association of Realtors has been published. 

Overall, the numbers are trending on the positive side in terms of median home price and inventory. The report anticipates a positive legislative outlook for the year after advocacy efforts to prevent Assembly Bill 854 were successful. Learn more.

The California Chamber of Commerce has published two policy briefings regarding California privacy rights and recycling. CalChamber hosts virtual briefings to provide insight on complex litigation affecting businesses. Read more here
IECA Feb. 18 Meeting Summary

On Friday, February 18, the IECA held a meeting over zoom to decide on a course of action for the coming months. A plan was discussed to conduct a planned advocacy visit to Sacramento after the June primary election. The IECA also discussed the topic of homelessness, and how it is being addressed in the region.
