Being ethical takes a lot more than just doing what’s legal. Being ethical means doing what’s right, no matter what—even when no one is looking!

Ethical Leadership Course Package – FREE!
Developed by MBA Research & Curriculum Center, the Ethical Leadership Course Package explains the importance of ethical principles, describes the consequences of unethical behavior and explores the key principles that help with ethical conduct. Materials are available through the generous support of the Daniels Fund.

Boot Camp
Ethics Boot Camp consists of 10 hours of ethics activities for students that can be used in a variety of settings. It is designed to be engaging and fun for students, while still introducing them to principles-based ethics, ethical decision-making, recognizing ethical dilemmas and the specific ethical principles laid out by the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative.

Book & Movies
Explore a list of recommended resources to help teach students about ethical decision-making. Developed with content summaries, corresponding ethical principles and select guides for instructor education, the annotated list is a foundational component of ethical education that makes learning both informative and engaging.

Video Series
Young professionals open up about ethical dilemmas they have encountered in this video series available on YouTube.

Ethics Certification
Interested in an industry-based certification in Ethics? The A*S*K Certification Exam: Fundamentals of Ethics is available free, thanks to the generous support of the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
This classroom connection will provide instructional resources to introduce the following National Curriculum Standards:

  • Model ethical behavior
  • Explain the nature of ethical leadership
  • Explain reasons for ethical dilemmas
  • Demonstrate responsible behavior
  • Describe ethical principles
  • Explain the nature of ethics
Ethical Leadership Challenge

DECA is excited to announce the new DECA Ethical Leadership Challenge hosted in partnership with MBA Research and with support from the Daniels Fund Ethics Initiative High School Program.

In teams of up to four DECA members, develop a 60-second (or less) public service announcement (PSA) based on a specific target market segment and including at least one of the eight ethical principles. The PSA should be designed to educate your local community and those afar through social media about the importance of ethics.

The top five teams will receive cash prizes and the top three teams will be recognized during DECA’s International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, GA.
