Property Tax Installment Payment Plan

If you are unable to pay the entire balance of your City of Milwaukee Property Tax Bill, the Treasurer’s office offers a 10-month, interest free installment payment plan. To qualify, your real estate tax bill must be more than $100 and you must make your first installment payment by January 31 (this amount will be noted on your bill).

38th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Birthday Celebration

The Marcus Performing Arts Center in Milwaukee celebrates Dr. King’s Birthday annually since 1984. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday Celebration programming highlights the youth in our community who every year interpret Dr. King’s words through art, speech, and writing contests.

This will be a VIRTUAL event on January 17, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. on the Marcus Center website.

UEC Membership Benefits

Instead of buying or renting outdoor recreational equipment, you can borrow it from the Urban Ecology Center! As part of your membership benefits package, you are able to borrow their canoes, kayaks, bikes, Nordic-style cross country skis, snowshoes, ice skates, and sleds for free.

Latino Entrepreneurial Network

Register for the Business Accelerator Bootcamp 2022 coming up in spring. Classes will begin on Tuesday, February 22nd. This is a program for established small businesses that want to grow their business, and this is a good opportunity where you will learn how to do it, and will be advised by a professional counselor throughout the program. You will also learn from many other topics such as financial planning, marketing, budgeting, etc.

Nature Rangers
Wednesdays in January from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Join the Urban Ecology Center and discover the winter happenings in Riverside Park at Nature Rangers! Kids ages 5-10 years old take on the outdoors from the prairie and into the forest to the Milwaukee River and all the life right here in the city!

Sensory-Friendly Sessions

January 12 from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. &
January 26 from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.

Children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or sensory processing disorders (SPD) and their families are welcome to join their Sensory-Friendly Sessions. Families can register for morning or afternoon, monthly events where children can enjoy the Museum experience in a calmer, quieter space.
