Basic River Recreation Safety Workshop

Recreate safely on YOUR Willamette River!

Learn the essential safety and rescue skills to paddle or row a craft down the Willamette through Springfield and Eugene.

Meet in the north Alton Baker Park parking lot, closest to Pre's Trail entrance, at 5:30PM. This class is aimed at the recreational paddler who wants to be able to keep themselves and others with them safe, including in-river practice. Please bring clothes and shoes you can swim in, drinking water, and dress for the weather. Limited space, registration required. Provided free of charge by McKenzie Rescue Training., LLC.
