A Message to Sun Valley Community of Staff, Students, and Parents.
I am writing today to inform you of an impending change in the Office of the Principal at Sun Valley High School. Sun Valley Principal, Mr. Patrick Sasse, has been appointed the next Principal of New Hope-Solebury High School in Bucks County, PA. It is hard to believe that Mr. Sasse is in his 6th year leading Sun Valley High School as time has passed so quickly during his tenure with Penn-Delco.
Mr. Sasse’s consistent admiration, support, and appreciation of SVHS students and staff has been evident since he first arrived at Sun Valley in 2016. He has indicated to me that he will deeply miss the SVHS school community, which I know to be true.
Mr. Sasse will continue to fulfill his responsibilities as Principal until a final release date has been set. The district will begin the process of advertising a job vacancy for the next Principal as early as next week and I will communicate any further developments and timelines regarding the hiring process, potential identification of an Interim Principal, and other next steps as they develop. In the meantime, normal ongoing school operations can be expected as all employees at Sun Valley continue to dedicate their best efforts to preparing our Vanguards for life success.
Join me in offering Mr. Sasse well-wishes in his next professional assignment and appreciation for his efforts in leading Sun Valley High School during his time at the helm.
